Have you ever wondered if you can change the outcome of something by tweaking a past event that leads to it or even if you tweaked countless times the events that lead to it, the outcome is still the same? No one really knows the answer but it’s sometimes called the Butterfly Effect and how interesting the world will be if somebody can explain it. Yet a game called Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective gives you a feeling how it the theory might work.

In Ghost Trick, you play as a ghost who lost his identity when he died. The ghost soon finds out that his name is Sissel and that he does not know anything about himself and how he died. Sissel therefore has the mission to find his identity in the course of the game but discovered that he can prevent the death of others by tweaking some events in the past to prevent circumstances that will prompt the death of a certain someone. Although one can tweak several times instances from the past but still cause the death of others. But don’t despair, with the right tweaking, one will surely succeed in saving other people’s lives.

This mind boggling game will surely stimulate your attention to details particularly between dialogues that people have and entice your sense of investigation. Follow Sissel’s endeavor and one might probably discover his true identity. See how the Butterfly Effect apply in this game and theorize if it can happen to the real world.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is available for Nintendo DS. Gamspot.com gave the game a score or 9.0/10 giving it a superb feel. Gamezone.com gave it an 8.5/10 and IGN.com gave it an 8.5/10 score as well considering it a great game. Try the game and see if it entices your sense of investigation.
